Cécile Rap-Veber

Cécile Rap-Veber, former lawyer at the Paris Court of Appeal, is currently Managing Director of the collective management organization Sacem, a position she has held since October 2021. Since January 2019, she has been Director of Development, International and Operations, and a member of the Executive Committee. She has played a major role since 2013, the year of her arrival, in the digital transformation of Sacem and its internationalization. She initiated and oversaw the rollout of the world’s first platform for processing online exploitation of works, URights. She has contributed to Sacem’s new developments by piloting global partnerships with major platforms, internationally recognized media and music publishers. She is also in charge, with David El Sayegh, of the project to create a new organization for the collective management of press rights. At a time when the creative world is undergoing profound change, marked by the rapid growth of streaming, the emergence of new technologies and the diversification of content, Cécile Rap-Veber’s background and expertise are an essential asset as Sacem enters a new strategic phase.

Leo Ferrante is a senior music and technology executive with more than two decades of experience shaping how artistry and innovation intersect on a global scale. He began his career in royalties and licensing, leading industry negotiations and large-scale system integrations at Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group, before directing global royalty operations at TIDAL and scaling reporting and rights infrastructure at SoundCloud. At Meta, Leo’s work has evolved from building global content operations for Facebook and Instagram’s music browser to leading creative strategy for brand and product partnerships. Today, as Head of Music & Partnerships for Creative Audio, he forges collaborations in AI, wearables, and immersive experiences, creating next-generation audio tools and incubator programs with music-tech firms and studios worldwide.

Robin AMRA
Robin Davies

As Chief Operating Officer of amra, Robin oversees all aspects of the global digital music collection society amra - the first global licensing and administration platform for digital publishing rights. His remit covers all operational aspects including onboarding, registrations, digital administration, business intelligence, and royalties, alongside licensing and business strategy. Robin sits on the amra Board, the TOWGE SC, and the CISAC MRG, and regularly speaks publicly about digital collections, direct licensing, and music collection networks. Prior to joining amra, Robin worked in corporate advisory at PwC, Sanctuary Records, and Barclays Capital.

Claire McAuley is Warner Chappell Music’s Executive Vice President of Global Rights Management. She reports to WCM’s Co-Chair and COO, Carianne Marshall. In her role, Claire focuses on proactively maximising songwriters' revenue by improving the company’s technology, developing its customer service ethos, and working with international partners in the global music economy so that its teams worldwide provide an unrivalled administration service to its songwriters and partners. Claire has led the charge on a variety of strategic moves to overhaul the WCM’s systems and speed up payments to writers. She has also helped to launch platforms designed to recover missing royalties, secure additional revenue for writers in emerging markets, and better track the global use of songwriters’ music across DSPs, as well as in film and TV production. Claire also currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Music Publishers Association and the Mechanical Licensing Collective.

Jonathan Dworkin

Jonathan Dworkin is Executive Vice President of Digital Business Development and Strategy at Universal Music Group, the world leader in music-based entertainment. Dworkin and his team lead UMG’s digital deal-making globally, working closely with the company's senior management team to develop digital strategy, cultivate key partnerships and advance the digital business. He is responsible for overseeing the integration of the company's digital strategy throughout its global organisation. Dworkin has more than two decades of music industry experience, spanning both creative and executive roles. He has held executive roles at Warner Music Group, Nokia and Lagardere in addition to having managed some of the world’s most revered hip-hop producers, including J Dilla, Pete Rock and Grammy award-winning duo Goodandevil. Dworkin holds a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Sarah Williams
Sarah Williams

Sarah Williams is the CEO of IMPEL, a ground-breaking collective of independent music publishers who license digital services. Sarah has led IMPEL since 2019, overseeing a period of great growth and development for the organisation. Prior to that she was an independent music lawyer, specialising particularly in publishing and organisational governance. Over her career, her wide range of interests and focus on the bigger picture have also led her into the fields of politics, conflict resolution and the non-profit sector, all of which she sees as helpful to her leadership role. Sarah was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1986 and to the California Bar in 1990. In 2003, Sarah took a sabbatical from her legal career to study in the US as a Rotary Peace Fellow. She holds a Bachelors degree in law (Bristol University) and Masters degrees in international law (London School of Economics), political science (UC Berkeley) and international studies (UC Berkeley).

Matteo Fedeli SIAE
Matteo Fedeli

Matteo Fedeli is CEO of SIAE, Italy's largest collective management organization for copyright, representing over 100,000 members with annual revenues exceeding €1 billion. He has held the position since January 2023. Under his leadership, SIAE has undergone a significant digital transformation, rebuilding its technological infrastructure and raising operational standards across the organisation. He joined SIAE in 2014 as Director of the Music Division, contributing from the outset to the Society's evolution in a rapidly changing market and playing a central role in modernising its licensing and distribution operations. He advocates for transparent data practices and fair remuneration for creators in the international debate on AI and copyright. Matteo currently serves on the CISAC Board of Directors. Prior to SIAE, he built his management consulting expertise at Bain & Company, focusing on corporate transformation, post-merger integration, and reorganisation strategies. He holds a degree with honors in management engineering.

Mary Megan Peer

As Chief Executive Officer of peermusic, Mary Megan Peer directs the largest privately owned music company of its kind, operating in 39 offices from 33 countries with over a million titles and 200+ employees worldwide. Peer led the acquisition of the largest independent K-pop publisher in Korea, acquiring 40,000 copyrights and works by BTS and EXO and opened offices in China, becoming the first global independent in mainland China. Peer also led the formation of peermusic Neighbouring Rights. Its roster encompasses 350 record labels and 3,000+ artists, including Bruno Mars, H.E.R., Lorde, David Guetta, Teddy Swims and Stromae. Mary Megan holds a BA with honors from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Peer has been named to Billboard’s “Power 100”, “Women in Music” and “Global Power Players” lists, featured in Music Business Worldwide’s “Inspiring Women,” and is also a Broadway producer.

John Phelan

John Phelan is Director General of ICMP, the global trade body for the music publishing industry. John’s background is steeped in music, having worked for many years as a professional violinist, as well as having chaired and managed symphony orchestras. He studied law, then orchestral conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire. John has lectured at Lausanne University and The Paris School of Business Management. He sits on a number of international boards and in 2023 was selected for Billboard magazine’s ‘International Power Players list’, then re-listed in 2024. In July 2024 The board of the US Production Music Association assigned him their Ambassador Award for his work to defend copyright, creators’ rights and the music sector.
